The six accused persons were charged with the offence of conspiracy to commit crime to wit robbery and robbery

Statement of Offence

Conspiracy to commit crime to wit robbery contrary to Sections 23(1) and 149 of the Criminal Offences Act, Act 29 as amended by the Criminal Code (Amendment) Act, 2003, Act 646.

Particulars of Offence

Stephen Quarshie Porter, Kwabena Nimako Trader, Yaw Appiah Trader, Kwasi Frimpong Trader, Kojo Ameyaw caretaker, on or about the 2nd day of January 2006 at Teshie Nungua in Accra in the Greater Accra Region and within the jurisdiction of this court acted together with a common purpose in committing crime namely robbery.
