When a man dies intestate leaving behind his wife and children but unfortunately the wife dies later before distribution of the deceased husband’s properties, what is the position of the law on the mode of sharing the property?

Because the wife died after her husband, any property that would have been due to her under Law 111 would have vested in her before she passed. Therefore, what she is entitled to will be hers and will be part of her estate upon her death. The children and any other beneficiaries will get what is due to them as well under the Intestate Succession Law, PNDCL 111

Customary law shall be used in distribution of the property
