No. It cannot. A statutory will can only be amended by another will or a codicil. In fact, a samansiw can only exist with a statutory will to the extent that there is no inconsistency. See In Re Okine (Decd.), Doo and Another v. Okine and Others 2004 JELR 68329 (SC)
