OKETCHO JOHNSON wishes to establish a Non-Deposit Taking Microfinance business in Uganda. He wishes to use the name Oketcho & In-laws Microfinance Ltd which will be located in Lira. Oketcho intends to partner with his brothers-in-law John Otai and Frank Okello. Oketcho will be the majority shareholder and the rest will have 20% and 10 % shares respectively.
The share capital of the Company will be Uganda Shillings 5,000,000/=.
The proposed Secretary is Atim Jessica, Oketcho’s wife
You are required to:
A. Form the company as desired by Oketcho. Submit the memorandum and articles of association plus the certificate of incorporation together with a checklist showing the steps for incorporation of a company in Uganda from inception to incorporation. Indicate the relevant forms filed at every stage.
