Sections 30-37 of Act 29 would be used to determine if the killing was justified. If it was not, he would be liable for murder or manslaughter in accordance with law.

It depends on the circumstances of the case. If the killing was deliberate and could have been prevented, the police officer shall face the law. But where it was in self defence or out of the necessary use of force or accidental, no crime has been committed by the police officer.
