A judgment given without reasons is not ipso facto void and will not be set aside for that reason only. See REPUBLIC V. ACCRA CIRCUIT COURT; EX PARTE APPIAH(1981) JELR 69261 (CA), AGBANELO V. UNION BANK (2000) JELR 51869 (SC). There is, however, an exception to this rule which is to the effect that the decision of a judicial committee must contain reasons for the judgment otherwise would be a nullity. REPUBLIC V. CENTRAL REGIONAL HOUSE OF CHIEFS JUDICIAL COMMITTEE; EX PARTE AABA (2001) JELR 68260 (SC)
