The 1st appellant was a gubernatorial candidate of the 2nd appellant,United Nigeria Peoples’ Party in the said election. The 1st respondent was also a candidate at the said election on the platform of the 2nd respondent, Peoples’Democratic Party. The 3rd-9th respondents also contested the said election through their respective candidates. At the end of the election, the 1st respondent was declared the winner of the election.
