BIOBELE ABRAHAM GEORGEWILL, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This is an appeal against the judgment of the High Court of Ogun State, Abeokuta Division, Coram: O. A. Onafowokan J, in Suit No. AB/532/2021: Chief Bashiru Adeyemi & Ors V. Lafa Farms and Food Limited & Ors delivered on 12/12/2024, in which the Counter - Claim of the 2nd and 3rd Respondents as Defendants/Counter -Claimants against the Appellants as Claimants were granted, while the claims of the Appellants against the Respondents were dismissed.
The Appellants were peeved with the said judgment and had appealed against it vide his Notice of Appeal filed on 17/1/2025 on five Grounds of Appeal. See pp 209 - 216 of the Record of Appeal. The Record of Appeal was compiled and transmitted to this Court on 14/3/2025. The Parties filed and exchanged their briefs, namely: The Appellants’ brief, the 2nd and 3rd Respondents’ brief and the Appellants’ Reply brief. The 1st Respondent did not file any brief.
