MOHAMMED DANJUMA, JCA (Delivering the Leading Judgement): This appeal is against the judgment of the National and State House of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Kano, Kano State Coram: Hon. Justice Mohammed Lekan Owolabi (Chairman), Hon. Justice Balikisu Gambo Yusuf (Member I) and His Worship Binta Othman (Member II) delivered on the 23rd October, 2023, wherein the trial Tribunal dismissed the petition. Dissatisfied with the said judgment, the Appellants filed their Notice of Appeal on the 11th day of November, 2023.
BRIEF STATEMENT OF FACTS
After the General Elections of 25th February, 2023 and 15th April, 2023, the 1st Respondent declared and returned the 2nd Respondent as the member House of Representatives representing Tudun Wada/Doguwa Federal Constituency of Kano State having polled majority of lawful votes cast on the platform of the 3rd Respondent.
