Alex Borketey Aplerh-Doku (hereinafter called the Petitioner) and Georgette Adubea Aplerh-Doku (hereinafter called the Respondent) were married under the Marriage Ordinance (Cap 127), at the Calvary Baptist Mission, Nungua on the 5th day of April, 2008. After the marriage, the parties cohabited at Nungua until the Respondent travelled to the United States of America (hereinafter called the USA).
By a petition filed on the 21st of December 2016 the Petitioner is seeking the dissolution of the marriage.
At the trial, the Petitioner testified on oath that he lives at No. 6 Nii Sowah Owomuoye Street, Oyarifa, Accra. He testified further that he works with IBM as an IT Professional.
