JOHN INYANG OKORO, J.S.C. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This is an appeal against the judgment of the Court of Appeal, Abuja, delivered on 26th June, 2015 wherein the lower Court affirmed the judgment of the Kogi State High Court sitting at Ankpa. The appellant and others were charged with criminal conspiracy, voluntarily causing hurt to extort property and Armed Robbery under Sections 97(1), 298 ( c) 250 (2) of the Penal Code respectively for which the Court below affirmed the conviction and sentence of the appellant to 5 years imprisonment for the offence of conspiracy, 7 years imprisonment for the offence of voluntarily causing hurt to extort property and 15 years imprisonment for Armed Robbery earlier entered by the Trial High Court.
