(Delivering the Leading Judgment): The prosecution presented the facts that the Appellant with his co-accused and others at large robbed the couple, PW1 and PW2 (Dr. Olukayode Adelaja and wife, Maria Adelaja) on 18/11/2007 at their residence at Awolowo Road, Odogbolu, when they were watching 7:00 news. They robbed them of their cash, gun, jewelries, cooked, ate and drank to stupor and even vomited there and took their bath in PW2's room. The robbery took place between 7:30pm on 18th to around 4:30am on 19/ 11/2007. The Appellant with his gang went also to rob PW 3 at gunpoint at the early hours of 19/1/2007. They jumped over his fence, shot dead his dog and robbed him of money and his Nissan Laurel car registered AP 362 JBD.
