JUDGMENT
ADJEI, J.A.
The Appellant and two other accused persons were charged with four counts of offences, namely; conspiracy to commit robbery contrary to sections 23(1) and 149 of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 and robbery contrary to Section 149 of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29).
The Appellant and the other accused persons were tried on indictment. The accused persons pleaded guilty simpliciter to the counts and were convicted on their own plea. The High court convicted all the accused persons and sentenced each of them to thirty-five years I.H.L.
The Appellant herein dissatisfied with the sentence imposed on him filed an appeal pursuant to the leave granted by the Court of Appeal to file an appeal against sentence out of time.
