RULING
The Petitioner/Applicant [“the Applicant”] commenced the instant proceedings by way of a Motion on Notice filed on 3 June 2026 seeking a Protection Order pursuant to Sections 11 and 12 of the Domestic Violence Act, 2007 (Act 732). Specifically, the Applicant prays this Honourable Court for an order restraining the Respondent, his assigns, and proxies from assaulting, threatening, harassing, or intimidating her, from contacting her directly or indirectly, and from approaching within a 200-metre radius of her residence at House No. 18, Royal Palm Street, Tse Addo, Accra, or her workplace and business premises (a school situated at Tse Addo). The Applicant further seeks an order for police assistance for the enforcement of the said Protection Order.
