AHMAD OLAREWAJU BELGORE, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This appellant (the plaintiff) before the High Court of Anambra State (Court below) filed this suit under the summary Judgment procedure claiming the following:

(a) N5,550,000.00 (Five Million, Five Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira Only) being the Plaintiffs stipend as a traditional ruler for 74 months at N75,000.00 per month (June 2003 to August 2009) wrongfully withheld by the defendant.

(b) N1,650,000.00 (One Million, Six Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira Only) being plaintiffs accumulated allowances as a traditional ruler for 74 months (June 2003 to August 2009) wrongly withheld by the defendant.

(c) N145,000.00 (One Hundred and Forty Five Thousand Naira Only) being refund due to the plaintiff for the defendants road maintained by the Plaintiff on agreement of both parties.

(d) 10% interest from date of Judgment until final settlement of Judgment debt.
