JUDGMENT 


The parties were married under the marriage Ordinance (Cap 127) (1951 Rev.) on  the 12th day of January, 2012 at Office of the Principal Registrar of Marriages, Accra. Per the Petition filed on the 8th day of July, 201, the petitioner is seeking  the following reliefs: 

(a) That the marriage be dissolved forthwith. 

(b) That the Respondent be ordered to pay lost of and incidental to this suit. 

The parties cohabited at Dansoman after the marriage prior to relocating to South  Amboy, New Jersey in the United States of America (hereinafter called the USA).  The petitioner is a Ghanaian ordinarily resident in the USA. The respondent is an  American citizen domiciled in the USA.  

It is instructive to note that notice of the petition was served on the respondent  out of the jurisdiction and that although there is proof of service indicating that  the respondent was duly served with all the processes, the respondent did not respond to any of the processes filed.
