VERITY Ag.J .A.. This is an appeal by the defendants from an order for recovery of possession made in the Land Court on the application of the plaintiff, the defendants' landlord, under section 11 (1) (e) of the Rent Control Ordinance, 1952. The ground for the application is that the plaintiff requires possession of the premises to carry out a scheme of redevelopment, the requisite notice having been given.
There are a number of grounds of appeal but the combined effect of them is that the learned judge erred in his interpretation of the relevant subsection of the statute and by reason thereof granted relief to which the plaintiff was not entitled, there being, it is submitted, no genuine scheme of redevelopment within the meaning of the enactment..
