AHMAD OLAREWAJU BELGORE, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This appeal is from the decision of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria sitting in Abuja contained in the judgment of Honourable Justice P. O. Lifu (JP) delivered on the 13th day of May, 2016 in Suit No. NICN/ABJ/185/2013.

By a complaint and statement of fact filed by the Respondent herein as the Claimant on the 8th day of July, 2013, the Respondent claimed the following reliefs:

(a) An Order directing the Defendant for the Payment of the Claimants salary and allowances during the period of his suspension since 2008 to date.

(b) Cost of this Suit.
