ABBA-AJI JCA (Delivering the Lead Judgment): This is an appeal against the judgment of Hon. Justice A.I. Chikere of the Federal High Court, sitting at Abuja, delivered on 19 March 2007, wherein the court struck out the appellant’s (plaintiff at the lower court) suit for being statute-barred, sequel to an application brought by the respondent’s counsel, challenging the trial court’s jurisdiction to entertain the suit, as same was statute-barred.
