OGUNTADE, JCA (Delivering the Lead Judgment): The appellant was the plaintiff in suit No. FCT/HC/CV/99/98 at the High Court, Abuja where it claimed against the respondent as the defendant for
“(1) The sum of N511,204 (Five hundred and eleven thousand, two hundred and four naira only being the cost of the repairs and renovation of plot 565, Wuse II, Abuja.
(2) The sum of N500,000.00 for breach of contract, legal fees and other inconveniences.”
The parties filed and exchanged pleadings after which the suit was tried by Bage, J. On 25/5/2000, the trial Judge in the judgment dismissed plaintiff’s suit. The plaintiff was dissatisfied with the judgment. It filed an appeal against it on ten grounds.
