JUDGMENT
Madam Benedicta Merley Marquaye (hereinafter called the Petitioner) and Mr. Martin Tweneboah-Kodua (hereinafter called the Respondent) were married under the Marriage Ordinance, 1951 Rev. (CAP 127) on the 7th day of May, 2011 at the Dzorwulu Baptist Church, Accra.
There are no issues of the marriage. Both parties are citizens of Ghana.
The Petitioner is an Executive Assistant in a Law firm whilst the Respondent is an Information Technology Support Manager in a private firm.
The Petitioner, per her petition filed on the 13th day of April, 2015, is praying the Court that the said marriage be dissolved, for an alimony of GH¢100,000.00 and for the Respondent to bear the cost incurred by her in order to prosecute this case.
The Respondent filed his answer and cross-petition on the 12th day of May, 2015 denying the material particulars and prayed the Court to dissolve the marriage.
