STEPHEN JONAH ADAH, JCA (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This appeal is against the decision of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, in Charge No: FCT/HC/CR/154/14, delivered on the 7th day of July, 2017, (Coram: O.A. Adeniyi, J.)

The facts of this case are that the appellant was arraigned with her Managing Director before the lower court on a two count charge of forgery and uttering. The charge reads as follows:

"That you, Nwokobia Chris "M" and BIOTEC LABORATORY PRODUCT LTD on or about the 5th day of July, 2013, at Abuja within the jurisdiction of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory did fraudulently make a false document to with: ACCESS BANK PLC. PERFORMANCE BOND dated 5th day of July, 2013 and purportedly signed by Shirley Ugolee and Uche Okere, as the authorized signatories of Access bank Pie. Which you knew to be false and sent same to KEBBI SJATE AGENCY FOR THE CONTROL OF AIDS with the intention of causing it to be believed that the sai…
