STEPHEN JONAH ADAH, JCA (DELIVERING THE LEADING JUDGMENT): This appeal is against the Ruling of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, sitting in in Abuja, in Suit No: FCT/HC/CV/1184/2012, delivered on the 1st day of May, 2013; coram: A.B. Mohammed, J., (as he then was).
The Appellants as Plaintiffs instituted this action at the trial court and claimed against the Respondent as Defendant all the sundry reliefs as per the Statement of Claim, thus:
A Declaration that the Defendant is in breach of its contracts with the plaintiffs.
An Order directing the Defendant to, forthwith, grant the plaintiffs access to their respective accounts (Cash flow ABI Network Limited-0021877679; Cashflow ABI Cooperative Society- 0025974291; Philemo Ibrahim Gora-0023944234) by honouring all their demand instruments such as cheques etc.
N1,000,000,000.00 (One Billion Naira) only against the Defendant for breach of contract.
