JUDGMENT
On the 19 of December, 2017 the Plaintiff per its lawful attorney, Global Expert Recovery instituted an action against the Defendant. By a writ of summons, the Plaintiff sought the following reliefs:
a) The recovery of the sum of fifty-six thousand eight hundred and fifty-eight Ghana Cedis thirty-five pesewas (GHȼ 56,858.35) being the total amount Defendant received from customers of the Plaintiff but she could not account for.
b) Interest from 3rd May 2017 till date of final payment
c) Cost
Appearance was entered on behalf of the Defendant by her solicitor on the 9 of January, 2018 and she filed a statement of defense on 18 January, 2018. The defendant denied liability to the plaintiff’s claim and counterclaimed against the plaintiff as follows:
i) A declaration that the Defendant was unlawfully and unfairly dismissed from the employment of the Plaintiff.
