TIJJANI ABUBAKAR, J.C.A. (Delivering the Lead Ruling): This is a motion on Notice filed on the 25th day of April 2016 and brought pursuant to Sections 6(6)(a) and (b), 36(1) and 243 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended), Order 4 Rule 1 and 4; Order 6 Rule 5 and Order 7 Rules 1 and 10 of the Court of Appeal Rules 2011 and under the inherent Jurisdiction of this Court.

The reliefs sought by the Appellant/Applicant's motion are for the following Orders:

1. AN ORDER for an extension of time within which the Appellant/Applicant can seek leave to appeal and file Notice of Appeal out of time against the ruling of the High Court of Lagos State (Coram: Honourable Justice A. A. Philips) delivered on 5th October, 2007 for an order of garnishee absolute in Suit No: LD/475/06.
