KORLE-BU TEACHING HOSPITAL AND ANOTHER
JUDGMENT
The Applicant filed an originating action premised on Article 33 of the Constitution of the Republic of Ghana, 1992, for the following reliefs:
(i). An order of certiorari to quash the decision of the Respondents for wrongfully interdicting Applicant by virtue of a letter of interdiction dated 24th March, 2016.
(ii).A declaration that the decision to interdict Applicant without following properly laid down procedure in both Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital Disciplinary Code and the Ghana Health Service Disciplinary Code is illegal, unlawful, null, void and no legal effect.
(iii). A declaration that the decision to interdict Applicant without offering him the opportunity to be heard violates the hallowed principle of natural justice and same renders the said decision contained in the letter of interdiction dated 24th March a nullity.
(iv). An order directed at 1st and 2nd Respondents to compensate Applicant with a reasonable sum of money for unlawful interdiction contained in a letter of…
