JUDGMENT
INTRODUCTION
On 16th November 2020, the plaintiff commenced the present suit by a writ of summons and a statement of claim against the defendant, seeking the following reliefs:
“i. Payment of the sum of GHc117,968.75 (One Hundred and Seventeen Thousand, Nine Hundred and Sixty-Eight Ghana Cedis, Seventy-Five Pesewas) the Defendant’s programme owed the Plaintiff.
ii. Payment of the sum of GHc16,000.00 (Sixteen Thousand Ghana Cedis) the Defendant collected from Plaintiff’s client and failed to pay same to the Plaintiff.
iii. The sum of GHc8,400.00 (Eight Thousand, Four Hundred Ghana Cedis) being balance outstanding on loan the Defendant took from the Plaintiff.
iv. Payment of the sum of GHc50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Ghana Cedis) being money Defendant demanded from the Plaintiff as a condition to remain in the Plaintiff’s employment, but failed to do so.
v. A month’s salary in lieu of notice.
