HAMMA AKAWU BARKA, JCA (Delivering the Leading Judgment): The instant appeal seeks to question the decision of the Hon. Justice Danlami Zama Senchi of the Federal High Court, now Justice of the Court of Appeal in suit with No. FCT/HC/CV/2887/2015, between Cosmos Forum (Nig) Ltd. and Federal Capital Territory Administration and 3 ors, delivered on the 13th day of April, 2018. By the said decision, the lower court concluded that the arbitral trial award of Muheed Komolafe, Tanko M. Ahmed and Chikwendu Madumere made on the 18th day of May, 2015 was thereby set aside.

Concisely, Appellants, as claimants before the lower court, by way of an originating motion brought on notice, and filed on the 23rd of September, 2015 pursuant to section 31(1) and (b) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act Cap A18 LFN 2004 and under the inherent powers of the court, sought for the following reliefs against the Respondents thusly: -
