RULING OF THE COURT
We are asked in the Motion on Notice said to be brought under Rule 5(2) (b) of the Rules of this Court and other provisions of law to stay execution and enforcement of the judgment and orders of D. K. Njagi Marete, J, made on 29th March, 2017 in Employment and Labour Relations Court Petition No. 1 of 2017 (as consolidated with Petition No. 2 of 2017) pending hearing and determination of an intended appeal. We are also asked to make an order restraining the 2nd, 3rd and 4th respondents from assuming office, resuming work or undertaking any of their former duties as employees or appointees of Embu County Government pending the hearing and determination of the intended appeal.
