MOHAMMED JCA (Delivering the Lead Ruling): By a motion on notice dated 19-4-2004 and filed in this court on the same day, the appellants/ applicants whose appeal is pending in this court sought for the following order:- “An order staying proceedings in suit No. K/925/2003 before Honourable Justice N. S. Umar of the Kano State High Court, Kano pending the determination of the appellants’ appeal to this Honourable Court against the ruling delivered on 4th February, 2004 by Honourable Justice N. S.
