J U D G M E N T 

The Petitioner per her lawful attorney, Francis Oduro Buabeng filed this petition on the 25th of August, 2015 for a declaration that the marriage in fact celebrated between the petitioner and the Respondent be dissolved. 

The Respondent filed an Answer to the petition and prayed that the said  marriage be dissolved. 

In his evidence-in-chief, the Petitioner’s lawful attorney tendered a Power  of Attorney from the Petitioner which was admitted in evidence as Exhibit ‘A’.  He testified that the Petitioner who is his biological daughter married the  Respondent under the Marriage Ordinance (Cap 127) in 2004 at the Presbyterian  Church, Dome, Accra. He tendered a photocopy of the Marriage Certificate dated  2nd May 2004, Exhibit ‘B’ after he explained to the Court that the Petitioner has  given the original certificate to the German authorities.
