RULING 

1. This ruling is in respect of a Motion on Notice to Strike out Pleadings filed by the Defendants/Applicants (hereinafter called “The Applicants”) against the Plaintiffs/Respondents (hereinafter called “The Respondents”). The instant application is supported by a 15-paragraph affidavit dated 19 December 2024 

2. The relevant paragraphs of the Affidavit in Support read as follows:

3. That by paragraphs 5 and 6 of the statement of claim, plaintiffs/respondents alleged that the late Joseph Adjingbaruk Syme acquired the disputed land by conveyance from one Henry Odartey Lamptey sometime in 2014.

4. That by paragraph 7 of the statement of claim, plaintiffs also contended that:
