SAULAWA JCA (Delivering the Lead Ruling): The applicants are by the instant application, dated 13 November 2007 but filed on 21 November 2007, praying this court for the following interlocutory relief: 1. An order of this honourable court staying further proceedings in suit No. NHC/19/2004 pending before Honourable Justice S.O. Iragunima of High Court, Nchia, Rivers State, pending the determination of the appeal filed by the defendants/ applicants against the ruling delivered on 12 December 2006 and this motion on notice. The application in question was supported by a 13 paragraphed affidavit, dated 21 November 2007. Attached thereto are various documents, viz. (i).
