HORRIDGE J. reading the judgment:-
The plaintiffs’ claim in this case is for damages for trespass on certain premises situate at 35, Great Russell Street, in the County of London, which were occupied by the National Unemployed Workers movement, and of which premises the plaintiffs Elias, Llewellyn and James were tenants, and for the return of certain documents, and 10l. damages for their detention. It was not contended before me that the plaintiffs were not the proper persons to bring the action. As regards the defendant Baron Trenchard, the Attorney-General did not wish in this case to raise the point that he was not responsible for anything done by the defendants Pasmore and Kitchener, and no case was pressed as against the Receiver for the Metropolitan Police District.
