(Delivering the Leading Judgment): In an Amended Notice of Appeal filed on the 22nd of January, 2020 but deemed filed on the 22nd of June, 2021, the Appellant appeals the judgment of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria, sitting at Akure, Ondo State, delivered on the 4th of December 2018.
SYNOPSIS OF FACTS
The Appellant is a legal practitioner who was called to the Nigerian BAR in the year 2005. She was first appointed to the Ondo State Local Government Service Commission in 2007 as a Legal Officer, attached to Akure South Local Government Area. She rose to Grade Level 13 when she transferred her appointment to the Ondo State Judiciary through Ondo State Judiciary Service Commission as Principal Registrar II in 2014.
In 2016, she was promoted to the Grade of Principal Registrar I on Grade Level 14.
