MOHAMMED LAWAL GARBA, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): The Appellant was charged with and convicted for the offence of manslaughter contrary to the provisions of Section 325 of the Criminal Code Law, Cap C17, Laws of Lagos State, 2003, by the Lagos State High Court in a judgment delivered on 1st December, 2009. He was sentenced to life imprisonment and being dissatisfied with the conviction and sentence, has brought this appeal on nine (9) grounds contained on the Notice of Appeal dated the 22nd December, 2009.
In the Appellant's unpaginated brief filed on the 1st April, 2011, four issues were submitted to the Court for decision in the appeal, as follows: -
