YUSUF ALHAJI BASHIR, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): The Appellants as Claimants instituted this action claiming the following reliefs from the lower Court vide an amended statement of claim dated 19th June, 2017 as follows:

a. A DECLARATION that the Claimants are entitled to the Statutory Right of Occupancy in respect of the vast parcel of land situate, lying and being at Sao family land phase II in Araromi/Oba-Ile, off Akure/Owo Express Road in Akure North Local Government, Ondo State measuring approximately 128.475 Hectares having beacon numbers, some of which are SC/OD AC7767BG, SC/OD AC7787, SC/OD AC7743BG and SC/OD AC 7759BG more particularly described in Perimeter Survey Plan No: OD/2079/2016/055 prepared by E. S. Ogbeye, Registered Surveyor dated 20/6/2016.
