RULING OF THE COURT

1. Before us is an application brought pursuant to section 3A (1) and (2) of the Appellate Jurisdiction Act and Rules 5 (2) (b), 41 and 47 of the Court of Appeal Rules wherein the applicants who are Members of the National Assembly seek inter alia-

(i) Pending the hearing and determination of the applicants intended appeal, a conservatory order do issue by way of an injunction to restrain the 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th, 6^th, 7^th and 8^th respondents from intimidating any and all of the serving Commissioners of the 1^st interested party in any form or style.

(ii) Pending the hearing and determination of the applicants intended appeal, a conservatory order do issue by way of an injunction to restrain the 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th, 6^th, 7^th and 8^th respondents by themselves, their members, servants, or agents or otherwise howsoever from breaking into, storming, forcibly opening the doors or blocking such access to the 1^st interested party’s Commissioners and its staff to its offices or a…
