RULING
[1] On 7th June 2023, the Plaintiff sued the Defendant for the following reliefs:
(a) A Declaration that the statements made by the Defendant about and concerning the Plaintiff on 13th April 2022, 25th April 2022, [2026]DLHC18574 – FRANCIS AKUAMOAH BOATENG vs. PETER BONSU Page 1 9th May 2022, and 11th May 2022, which were published through NET2 TV station's live show "The Seat", as well as on NET2 TV's YouTube channel and as endorsed on the Writ of Summons by way of attachment and particularized in paragraphs 16, 18, 19, 23, 24, 29, 31, 35 and 40 of the Statement of Claim are defamatory of the Plaintiff.
(b) An Order directed at the Defendant to make eight (8) consecutive appearances, beginning within seven (7) days from the date of grant of this Order, on the NET2 TV station show "The Seat," which was used in defaming the Plaintiff, for the purposes of making a retraction and an unqualified apology to the Plaintiff for the publications of the defamatory words, which apology sho…
