By his Writ of Summons filed on the 22nd January, 2015, the Plaintiff asked for the following reliefs;

a. Damages for unlawful seizure of the vehicle purchased for the Plaintiff by the Defendant in August, 2012.

b. An Order directing the defendant to return plaintiff’s vehicle No. GN5626-11.

c. Alternative to relief (a) hereof, an Order of the court directing the defendant company to return the vehicle purchased for plaintiff which was unlawfully seized.

d. In the alternative to (c) hereof, an Order directing the defendant company to refund an amount of GH¢139,000.00 being the total amount of money paid to the defendant company out of the GH¢142,000.00 loan used to buy the vehicle in issue.

e. Any other relief that the court may consider appropriate.

The defendant also counterclaimed for the following reliefs;-

a. A declaration by this Honourable Court that the Plaintiff is indebted to the defendant on its loan account executed with it on 19th April, 2014 for the sum of GH¢142,000.00.
