JUDGMENT  

Introduction: 

[1] The Plaintiff, George Agyemang Sarpong is the owner of the property known as No. 20,  Plot 7, Boundary Road, Ambassadorial Residential Area, East Legon, Accra. The Defendant  Company signed a lease agreement with the Plaintiff in October 2015 for a term of two years,  renewable, at a yearly rent of the cedi equivalent of USD 24, 000 payable in advance. The issues  for my resolution in this case are: whether the Defendant has breached the Covenants and  Conditions of the agreement signed, whether the Plaintiff is entitled to the reliefs endorsed on the  Writ of Summons and claimed by the Plaintiff. 

[2] The Plaintiff’s Writ of Summons issued on December 6, 2016 was for the following reliefs: 

1. Recovery of Possession of Property known as No. 20, Plot 7, Boundary Road,  Ambassadorial Area, East Legon 

2. Recovery of the sum of Ghana Cedis equivalent of USD24,000 being rent due with  effect from 13th October, 2016 

3. Damages for breach of Covenants
