UWABUNKEONYE ONWOSI, J.C.A. (Delivering the Lead Judgment): This is an appeal against the judgment of the High Court of Lagos State sitting at Lagos Judicial Division, delivered by HON. A.M. LAWAL in Suit No. LD/ADR/613/16 on 12th March, 2018. The Trial Court on the 12th March, 2018 entered judgment (contained at pages 270 – 301 of the Records of Appeal) in favour of the Respondent and dismissed the Appellant’s counterclaim on the ground that, it did not prove that it was entitled to cost of repairs and that, its staff were assaulted by the Respondent. Irked by the judgment of the Trial Court, the Appellant filed a Notice of Appeal dated 28th March, 2018 (contained at pages 302-306 of the Records of Appeal).
