STEPHEN JONAH ADAH, J.C.A (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This appeal is against the judgment of the National and State House of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal, Yobe State delivered in Petition No. YB/EPT/NA/03/2019, on the 4th day of September, 2019 CORAM: T. Susan Oji, J; E. Osabo Osagede, J; and U. Salihu Sakwa, J.
The facts from the record before this Court are very easy to appreciate.
The Appellants, as petitioners before the Tribunal, filed a petition on the 1ih of March, 2019 in contention of the declaration and return of the 2nd Respondent as the winner of the election into the National Assembly, representing Yobe South Senatorial district which was held on the 23rd of February, 2019.
The Grounds upon which the petition was brought are as follows:
