BRIEF FACTS
The Plaintiff/Appellant simply to be referred to as the Appellant was an employee of the Defendant/Respondent also to be known as the Respondent in this judgment. He occupied the position of Junior Customer Care Assistant. He was dismissed from the Respondent company upon charges of financial malfeasance against him. The Respondent caused Internal Audit investigations into its revenue activities at the Hohoe District of its company where the Appellant worked. The Appellant and two others were cited for suppression of revenue and tampering of records. He was queried and asked to respond to the allegations made against him. His explanations were found to be unsatisfactory therefore a committee was set-up to investigate the allegations against the Appellant and the two others. After the investigations…
