DANLAMI ZAMA SENCHI, JCA (DELIVERING THE LEADING JUDGMENT): This appeal is against the judgment of National Industrial Court in suit No NICN/LKJ/02/2018 delivered by Honourable Justice Sanusi Kado on the 16th December, 2019.
The brief facts of the Respondents' case (as Claimants at the lower Court) against the Appellant (Defendant at the lower Court) is that they became employees of the Appellant by virtue of the Appellant appointment letters of employment dated 10th November, 1992, 20th September, 2006 and 14th September, 2009 respectively. According to the Respondents, since their appointments with the Appellant they have always conducted themselves in an appropriate manner, much to the admiration and content of the Appellant that not only earned them promotions in the office but also saw several sensitive task vested on them which they always performed diligently.
