JUDGMENT 

The plaintiff issued this writ after a disappointment by Emirates airline  which disallowed him and his family from travelling to Islamabad on the  1st April 2012, because his tickets according to the airline were  cancelled by the travelling agent who had sold the tickets to him. Consequently, he prayed the court for the following reliefs: 

a. A declaration that the defendant unlawfully cancelled the  plaintiff’s four Emirates tickets without recourse to the  plaintiff. 

b. An order for the recovery of an amount of $5.000.00 (Five  thousand dollars) or its cedi equivalent from the defendant  by the plaintiff being the cost of four Emirates airline tickets  sold to the plaintiffs by the defendants.

c. Interest on the said amount from April 2012 to till date of  final payment. 

d. An order for the payment of damages for breach of contract  and compensation for the embarrassment and  inconveniences caused plaintiff and his family as a result of  the cancellation of the tickets by t…
