JUDGMENT
1.0. INTRODUCTION
1.1. It is in the public interest for litigation to end. This is an offshoot of a case that travelled from the High court, Tamale to the Supreme Court of which judgment was delivered by the Supreme Court on 13th May 2020. Ordinarily, this court should not have entertained this case beyond pleadings stage but for the fact that the defendants herein raised a point of law that they acquired their interest in the disputed land prior to the institution of the action of which judgment went against their alleged grantor. In the case of Klu v Konadu [2009] SCGLR 741, the apex court held that a purchaser of land is not estopped or affected by a judgment adverse to his vendors in proceedings commenced subsequent to the acquisition of his title. In view of that this court had to hear this case on its merits.
