A. G. IRIKEFE, J.S.C.(Delivering the Leading Judgment): The appellant herein deliberately hacked his brother to death and when he was satisfied that the said brother was really and truly dead, he thereafter, also deliberately and calmly dragged the dead body to a nearby bush and returned to barricade himself in his room. From the safety of this barricade he began to issue threats to take on all comers. It was in this state, that the police came to flush him out and disarm him. He obviously had no defence to the charge of murder. The Court of Appeal was right in dismissing his appeal and both counsel in the case were also right in agreeing with the decisions of the last two courts. This appeal is accordingly dismissed and the conviction and sentence recorded by the trial court are affirmed.
