JUDGMENT

The Plaintiff on 24th December 2015 caused a writ of summons together with a statement of  claim against the Defendant for the following reliefs: 

a. Refund of an amount of GH¢70,000 to Plaintiff being part payment for the land  belonging to the Defendant. 

b. Interest on the said amount from December 2013 to date of final payment.

c. Damages for breach of contract. 

d. Legal costs. 

The Defendants entered conditional appearance through their lawyer on 29th January 2016  and filed a statement of defence on 8th April 2016. 

In a nutshell the Plaintiff’s case as per their pleadings is that the 1st Defendant agreed to sell  six acres of land belonging to the 2nd Defendant Company to him at an agreed price of three  hundred and sixty thousand Ghana cedis (GH¢360,000:00) in August 2013.
