JUDGMENT
This petition was first filed in the District Court before it was transferred to the High Court.
The husband petitioner who seeks the dissolution of the marriage between himself and the Respondent per his amended petition filed on 14th June 2016 in the High Court, says in brief that he married the Respondent customarily in 2012 and that they there are no children of the marriage. He further alleges to have married someone under the ordinance before his marriage to the Respondent. According to the petition, the marriage has broken down because of the Respondent’s unreasonable behaviour and desertion. It is his case that by the time he got married to the Petitioner he was already a successful business man who owned a palm plantation measuring approximately 100 acres and another 20 acres of factory land.
